Nature's Silver Lining - Jeff Adam Fank

Hello Readers,

I did want to take a few minutes and shed some light on Jeff and Michele’s next “project”, which is a Silver supplement sold via Nature’s Silver Lining.  The product is an ingestible liquid used as a “cure all” for many diseases.  This product is sold in many forms, including a spray and some various creams.  For the record, Jeff calls this his “retirement plan”.

This seems all fine and dandy until you stop and think.  How did a contractor (who is also a con artist) create this product?  Who helped?  If it is so great, why hasn’t it taken off?  Here are some facts about the story we were told about the product:

Jeff states that he was hired on a construction project for a scientist name Marshal (wonder if he finished that project).  Marshal came up with the formula, but couldn’t create the machine to stabilize the product.  This is where Jeff came into the equation, as he states “I can build anything”. Here are some facts about this product’s history:

1)      Marshal (the secretive scientist)
a.      Where does Marshal work and where did he go to school?  “I don’t know.  There is limited information on the web about him as well.  He really believed in government conspiracies.”
b.      Where does Marshal live?  Answers:
                                                    i.     He is dead
ii.     In Wheaton in a nursing home
iii.     In Lamotte in a nursing home
iv.     In Elburn in a nursing home.  Jeff and Michele moved to Elburn to be closer to him.
c.      Where is Marshal’s family?
                                                    i.     They all committed suicide
d.      Does Marshal own any of your business?
                                                    i.     No, Michele owns it all.  Marshal wouldn’t put my machine back together, so I cut him out.
e.      Marshal also lived with Jeff and Michele for a bit so Michele could “take care of him”.

Jeff and Michele do distribute this product in the local community, and have had success doing so.  Jeff gave me names of the companies that use this product, and I will be reaching out and letting them know the story.  At this point, I do not believe it is fair to distribute the names of these entities until they are made aware of the whole story, and can act accordingly.

**For the record, I believe that Marshal did exist (that is not his real name), and the product may work.  I believe that Jeff and Michele did form a relationship with Marshal.  They probably finished his project, helped him design the silver product, stole the formula, manipulated a wedge between him and his family, “took care” of him to take advantage of (steal) his Medicare/Social Security, and then “sent him out to pasture”.**

If anyone has any additional information about this gentleman, please let me know.  He may be alone rotting in home far away from his family.  If this man does exist, it’s worth us putting some time in, and seeing if we can help.  Hopefully I am wrong, and no such situation exists.

Thank you for your continued support everyone.

The 12 Step Program- Jeff Adam - Fank (or whatever the hell his name is) Style

Readers and Followers,

I want to thank you for your remarkable support!  As of this evening, we are already closing in on 1,500 views.  This is the support and enthusiasm we need to really make a difference.  I’ve done a lot of “talking” (and I will continue to, but I assure you, that will get very stail after awhile, ask my wife), so now it’s your turn.  Please utilize this thread to share interactions with Jeff Fank - Michele Kesner, ideas on how to collectively stop them, or any other feedback you may have on the blog and/or our situation.

Please keep in mind that this blog will not resort to name calling, threatening, or any other distasteful actions.  I will not stoop to their level, no matter how tempting it is (and it is tempting).

I look forward to your feedback and contributions!

The Manifesto

Many of you may be thinking something to the tune of the following:  “Why is this Jordan guy spending so much time putting together a blog and plastering social media about this crooked contractor?  Doesn’t he have anything else better to do?  He is out a lot of money, and that is awful, but move on, and learn your lesson.”  I assure you, I have plenty of other better things to be doing, including spending time with my beautiful wife Devon, my 3-year-old son Ashton, and my new addition Dylan (who isn’t even a month old yet).  Hell, I could even be watching some college basketball or catching up on some Spring Training Coverage of my beloved Detroit Tigers.  But here I sit, on a Thursday night at 10:03 p.m. CST, starting another blog post about my particular situation with a crooked contractor.  Why am I doing this?  Is it the thousands of dollars I am out, yes, but it is much, much more than that.  The answer to the question goes much deeper; Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

Rich, a very kind gentleman from the Carolinas, was one of the main carpenters that worked on our kitchen.  He had the pleasure of meeting “Jeff Adams” when the worked together at a building company a few years back.  The first week of November 2017, with the promise of steady hours and increased pay, Rich left his current job, and started working projects for Jeff.  He showed up each and every day at 8 a.m. with a smile on his face and a funny story to tell.  He is an excellent carpenter, and ironically, did a kitchen for Phil Jackson in the mid-90’s.  Rich is at the point in his life where he is saving for retirement, and he also wanted to use the extra income on his family during the upcoming holiday season.  Rich worked multiple projects for Jeff spanning about 6 weeks, and when all was said and done, Rich was paid nothing.  He is still to this date working overtime to make up for the 6 weeks of lost wages.  Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

“Gerry” was one of the main plumbers on both our kitchen and basement projects.  He is one of the kindest men I have ever meant in my life, and frequently talked us through the “ins and outs” of what was going on in our project.  “Gerry” actually owns his own construction company, and is in the process of finishing up flipping a home.  “Gerry” would help Jeff out in certain circumstances, because, after all, “Gerry” is Jeff’s cousin.  Toward the end of the kitchen project, and when things fell apart in the basement, “Gerry” wasn’t around anymore.  I reached out direct to “Gerry” on this, and he stated that he had been working for free for over 9 months.  Jeff had promised to build him and deck and draw up the blueprint.  Of course, there was no blueprint and no deck, so “Gerry” had to tell his beloved cousin that he needed to be paid, or he was done working.  I spoke with “Gerry” in late January, and, at that point, he was no longer speaking with Jeff.  Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

“Enrique” was one of the main subcontractors on both our kitchen and basement projects.  His group was with us from the beginning, as they were the group that did the demo of the kitchen.  “Enrique” had a company of about 7 men, all of which were absolutely wonderful to work with.  “Enrique’s” guys were the hardest workers I have ever seen in my life.  They worked at least 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, and rarely stopped for breaks.  One gentleman, “Hector”, put the tile floor in our kitchen, and did a wonderful job.  Over a three day period, he logged 40 hours of work, leaving as late as 9 p.m. one evening.  There was another circumstance where Jeff couldn’t get anyone to do some of the tile work in our kitchen.  He called “Enrique” on a Saturday afternoon because it “needed to be done”.  “Enrique” left his family engagement and brought his daughter (who watched a movie on her iPad in the car) so he could get our tile work done.  “Enrique” worked about 5 projects for Jeff, and at the end of the day, he ended up scared the most from the UDAC/Jeff/Michele experience.   The checks from Jeff stopped coming in November, and by the holidays, “Enrique’s” company was out over $20K just on our house.  Did “Enrique’s” guys go unpaid?  No, he emptied out his daughter’s college fund and paid them all.  He made sacrifices around the holidays so his guys were ok, and his family could enjoy the season.  Words can’t express the amount of respect and admiration I have for this gentleman.  As you may have guessed, “Enrique” isn’t his name, but he is a Mexican American.  Jeff and Michele pray on this ethnic group, as it is a major part of their scam.  As I write this, waives of nausea pour through my stomach, and my veins pulsate with anger.  Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

Devon, my beautiful wife and best friend, started this journey with Jeff Adam and UDAC while being about 10 weeks pregnant.  She had to challenging task of entertaining our 3-year-old with the house torn apart due to the projects.  She also spent hours weekly talking with Jeff about life because, well, Devon sees the good in everyone.  Devon wrote two checks for $15K right before the holidays for work on the basement, and she is still heartbroken about it (love, it’s ok, reallyJ).  When the situation deteriorated with Jeff Fank/UDAC, it was the beginning of January.  Devon had to emotionally process the betrayal, dishonesty, financial loss, and the fact we let Jeff/Michele around Ashton 34 weeks pregnant! Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

Ashton, who is now my first born, loved “Mr. Jeff”, and would talk with him and play with him consistently.  Ironically, he never warmed up to Michele, and actually stomped her foot both times she was in our house.  Think he was trying to tell us something?  Anyway, on January 9th, we had to sit Ashton down and explain to him that “Mr. Jeff” was not allowed in our house anymore because he is “not nice”.  His little brain had to process this fact way too early, and he was a bit confused and frustrated (we were fighting back tears, for the record).  Ashton experienced loss of someone he really liked, and had to learn direct concepts of “stealing” and being “not nice” way too early in life.   Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

This blog isn’t about the money, or my ego, or attention, or a hobby, or something I want to particularly want to be doing (now 11:57 p.m. CST).  It’s a rallying cry for me to stay true to myself, and make sure that Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner are done.  This has gone on way too long and affected way too many innocent, kind, and friendly people.  That being said, I can’t do it alone, I need your support on this blog via comments, follows, and spreading of the message.  I am also open to any ideas and suggestions you may have to offer.  Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner must be stopped.

Talk Soon,

Jeff Fank - UDAC, LLC Timeline

Readers,

I want to thank you for the continued support and help spreading the word about this evil duo.  I have put a brief timeline together below that spells out all of the important transaction and interaction dates.  I will add a ton more color in the future, but for now, I wanted to give you the 10,000 foot overview.

1)       Kitchen contract was signed with UDAC on 4/11/2017.
2)      Kitchen project was started August 17th.  The UDAC contracts states completion approximately 12 weeks from the start date.   That date would be 11/9/2017.
3)      The kitchen project progress was slow, but we were pleased with the ideas that Jeff had, so we considered finishing the basement, and agreed to hire Jeff.
4)      When signing the contract for the basement on 10/4/17, I asked Jeff when the kitchen project would be completed.  He stated “about two weeks”.  I said “about October 18th”?  He then said “yes”.
5)      On November 2nd, work started on the basement project.
6)      From November 6th to November 27th, UDAC pulled the majority of their resources to another job that needed to be done by Thanksgiving.  During this period, work was only done at our house for two business days, with no work being done on the basement.
7)      On November 22nd, I called Jeff stating that the kitchen projected needed to be completed ASAP, as we were now a month past what he promised when we signed the basement contract (October 4th) and over the time stated in the contract.  He then promised that the kitchen project would be done by November 29th.
8)      On December 4th, I had another conversation with Jeff, stating that it was the holidays, and we wanted to entertain.  We desperately needed to kitchen completed.  He agreed, was sympathetic, and said it would be done by the end of the week (December 8th).
9)      On December 11th, I reminded Jeff that he agreed to have the basement done by Christmas Eve, as we had family coming in.  I also said the kitchen needed to be done ASAP.  At this point, he projected the basement would be done by Christmas Eve and the kitchen would be done by December 15th.
10)   During the week of 1/1/18, Jeff demeanor and attitude changed drastically.  He was pressuring us for money and seemed nervous and jittery.  I liken it to a scene in a movie where the drug dealer owes the kingpin money.  It was very odd.
11)   The kitchen project was completed on 1/5/17 subject to a few additional items.  Jeff sent a bill adding about $3K in additional expenses that were not accounted for in the contract.  I reached out to have a conversation, and Jeff said “the only conversation I want to hear is here is my check” and he then threatened putting a lien on our property.  At this point, the conversation was handed over to Michele, as she stated that Jeff was too emotional to handle it.
12)   We engaged with Michele and Jeff via email for the next three days, being fair, but stating the case that you can’t charge additional money on a contract without the proper signed documentation.  We also stated that work needed to continue on the basement, as it was nowhere near being finished.  On 1/8, the conversation deteriorated, and Michele said UDAC would be placing a lien on our house.  That evening, we received a notice to lien for about $18K on our house via email.
13)   That evening (1/8/2018), I was discussing the whole situation with my neighbors.  One of them got creative with Google, and found the links documenting the scam that are on the right side of this blog.  At that point, I sent an email stating our final offer for the payment on the kitchen and that work must continue on the basement.  For the record, I knew no work would continue, as I knew of the scam, and knew they were out of money.
14)   On 1/10/18, I informed UDAC that they had officially walked off of the basement job, and owed us $9K back for the unfinished work.
15)   At this point, we reached out to many of the subcontractors that worked on our house, and found that all of them were owed money from Jeff.  The amounts ranged from $1,500 to about $20,000.  We also found out about UDAC’s upcoming planned Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
16)   We then got estimates to finish the basement.  We found that the HVAC was done incorrectly and it needed additional work.  There were also a multitude of other issues that needed to be corrected.  At the end of the day, we are out between $22K and $27K on the basement project.
17)   The bankruptcy was filed on February 19th, 2018.  Here is a link that will keep you updated:  https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/23744044/UDAC,_LLC
18)   We have not talked with Jeff or Michele since 1/8/2018.

Again, thank you for your support, and I will be in touch soon.

Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner

To guide you properly through the whole story, I need to take some time to talk about the key players.  Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner are at the focal point of this story, and need to be discussed in detail.  Please note that I am going to share some personal details and information here.  It is not meant to be petty or for gossip purposes, but to spell out who they are in an attempt to understand their behavior.  Please note that if I am entering an opinion that is not fact, I will put a * at the beginning and end of the thought.  This blog will be based in fact, and it will be clear to the reader when I am imputing my opinion.

Jeff Fank grew up in West Chicago, and (from his description) had a tough relationship with his mother.  The two facts about his childhood he always repeated were:

1)      I eat fast because, when I was growing up, there wasn’t enough for seconds.
2)      I talk so much now because I was always told to be quiet as a kid.

Jeff Fank (per his story to us) did not graduate High School, and has a GED.  He is dyslexic and also believes that he has ADHD.  For the record, I am ADHD and have a reading disability, and I agree with Jeff’s assessment.  He has bounced around jobs and careers since High School, primarily in snow removal and various types of construction.  He always did have a complaint or a comment that he wasn’t paid enough for his work, so he would move onto the next job.  *When listening to Jeff discuss these moves and pay, a strong sense of entitlement is definitely recognizable.* He always states “I know what that guy was making, and he was paying me pennies”.  Jeff Fank doesn’t talk about his family much.  One of his brothers is evidently on disability because of his ADHD and his mother did lend him $10K once when he needed it.  He is a talker and a great salesman, and spends the majority of the time talking about his dogs, his pet deer, Michele’s kids, and politics.

I do not know nearly as much about Michele Kesner.  She was over sparingly helping us with the interior design work, and was much more aloof than Jeff.    From my conversations with Jeff, Michele loves interior design work and shopping at Nordstrom’s.  She loves her SiriusXm Catholic Channel and she reads scripture every morning.  She even took a trip to Jerusalem while they were working on the house (yes, I did see pictures), bringing me a cross back.  *Once I learned of the fix, this religious piece was very disturbing (I was raised Roman Catholic).  My belief is that she has some sort of Robin Hood complex or she just repents each and every day.  Regardless, it is sick and twisted, and there is a special place in hell for her.*

Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner were introduced via mutual friends, and grew a platonic relationship.  At the time that they were introduced, Michele was in an abusive relationship.  Jeff got involved and told the abuser that if he didn’t stop, Jeff would have to take care of him.  Shortly after, Jeff and Michele moved into an apartment together, still maintaining a platonic relationship.  They have never been married (*now we know mainly due to the scam*) and still act very much like friends when they are around each other.  Michele has children that are not Jeff’s, but he has raised them as his own, and speaks very warmly about them.

As far as the scam is concerned, Jeff is the brains (constructing, blueprints, ideas) and Michele muscle.  Michele is the ring leader of the whole show, and is the first to state “my lawyer this” and “my lawyer that”.   *Though they are both horrible people, I believe Michele is the truly evil one.*

Again, my point here is to shed some light on Jeff Fank and Michelle Kesner, and show you (the readers) that there are circumstances that have lead them to behave the way they do.  It doesn’t make it right, but it gives an understanding that can hopefully 1) restore some faith in humankind 2) help identify these individuals if they create new aliases.

Have a great evening and thank you for your time.

Facebook Post

In the spirit of continuing to share details of the story, I want to share my Facebook post on the matter.  Here is a link to the page:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/509784399063863/permalink/1873794509329505/

It was great to see the support from the local community and the assistance in spreading the word.  Thank you neighbors!

Introduction and Brief Summary

Good evening.  My name is Jordan, and I live in Geneva, IL.  The intent of my first post here is to spell out the intent of the blog and give a bit of background on how Jeff and Michele came into my family’s life.

The intent of this blog is to spell out, in detail, my interactions with Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner.  I am going to cover many of the details of the whole transaction, pre and post-fallout.  I will factually share personal details on the couple, not to gossip or be petty, but to give you some insight on how they operate.  I will always be speaking factually about Jeff Fank and Michele Kesner unless I state otherwise.

On 4/1/2017, we hired Jeff Adam from UDAC to finish remodel our kitchen.  Our house is in the Mill Creek subdivision, which is located in Geneva, IL.  We did our homework; we interviewed and obtained quotes from 5 contractors, we checked references, and we put Jeff Adam through a gauntlet of questioning.  Our kitchen project started in mid-August of 2017, and since that point, our life has never been the same.

The Manifesto

Many of you may be thinking something to the tune of the following:  “Why is this Jordan guy spending so much time putting together a blog ...
